Has anyone read the CONSTITUTION of the United States lately? I'd be willing to bet that very few people could tell me that they had. Among those, are the very Representatives that you and I have elected to Congress. It used to be that the Democrats wanted to spend your money, and the Republicans wanted to save your money...now both parties are looking at every conceivable way to take from you what is rightfully yours. I think the term is "legal plunder". Theft is not a crime when the Government does it.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

IGNORE your rights and they'll go away.

If you are not outraged you're not paying attention.

Minds are like parachutes they only function when open.

Congress has been congratulating themselves on the recent Bill passed that eliminates dual taxation on dividends. Hot dog! Did they forget to tell you that the day before they passed a $984 million dollar INCREASE in the national debt? Government just wrote themselves a $1 Trillion check to be paid for with your future labor. Write and thank them!

Well as my wife certainly knows, I've been saying that the war in Iraq is/was a mistake. The Bush administration has turned public focus away from Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda to a war with someone over the infamous "weapons of mass destruction" which have to date, failed to turn up. And besides, I fail to see how or why Hussein was an eminent threat to this country. So eminent that we now have the doctrine of "First Strike". Senator Bryd, the senior member of Congress, apparently agrees with me. See this http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,87484,00.html
